چکیده

• Traffic lights and demand are the major source of instability bus services. Control strategies required to keep regular services in multi-route corridors. Regularity is achieved even when branched route segments heterogeneous. Regular operations don’t minimize travel times passenger transfer flow high. Many transit network layouts require operation multiple routes along a common segment busiest area city. At some points, these branch out provide spatial coverage city periphery. These schemes allow more efficient deployment resources at expense introducing complexity into system operation. This study aims determine effect layout corridor, distribution traffic on total cost as well its service regularity. The corridor operated by buses, although it can be generalized for other modes. An operational model estimate waiting time users performance buses each developed. considers stochastic arrivals stops vehicle acceleration–deceleration rates. optimization procedure optimal headway relative synchronization routes, which minimizes incurred agencies or variations segment, introduced.
